Awesome Weekend We had a great weekend. A very relaxing Friday night. The girls and I did nothing besides the Friday night What Not to Wear viewing. We LOVE that show. We were also in bed by 9:30. Ken was at a rodeo in Cleveland, Ohio, working. Sat. AM we got up early for Taylor's BB game that started at 8 (Yuck) After the game we headed to Kansas City with a few friends to celebrate Drew M's b-day. We started off at the plaza for a little ice skating. It was a first for my kids. Taylor didn't like it so much but Sydnee loved it. After ice skating we went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. (Yum) My 2nd time there, first time being in Las Vegas during the finals, a very yummy place, their spinach dip is to die for. Then we did a little shopping. I found a bargain pair of boots that I almost bought at the beginning of the season at Von Maur for about $100. I got them yesterday for $30 YIPPEEEE!! I also bought a clutch purse that was regularly $89 for $25. After shopping and ice cream we went to the Haug's, some friends of ours who moved to KC about 6 months ago. All I can say about their house is WOW!!! It is by far the nicest house I have ever been in. Here is a shot of the kids after singing Happy B-Day to Drew The kids had a great time. We got Chipolte take out for dinner and also ordered a couple of pizza's from there club house for the kids who didn't want Mexican. That was the 1st time I had ever eated at Chipolte. It was great. Against the kids wishes we headed back home at about 10:00, and arrived at about 11:30. It was a great time. The pic above was a funny face pic. They asked me if they could do that and I said sure! They always ask me when they want to do silly things because I'm game for about anything. Sunday was relaxing also. We went to church, came home for lunch and then I did laundry and picked up the house most of the day. Then we went to our Lenten group Sunday evening.
